Investor Engagement & Allocation
Investor engagement is central to the FilmFund.io platform, providing participants with multiple ways to interact and gain value from the platform.
1. How Investors Participate Using the $FFA Token:
Investors purchase $FFA tokens during the platform’s ICO or on the secondary market. These tokens serve as a medium of exchange and provide access to a variety of platform functionalities.
Investors can stake $FFA tokens on specific film projects to secure future allocation rights in the security tokens of those projects. Staking is a form of “commitment signaling,” where backers show their support for projects before they are fully funded.
2. Staking Mechanics to Secure Allocation:
During the pre-funding phase, investors stake $FFA tokens, which are locked until the project reaches its hard cap.
Allocation is determined based on the amount of $FFA staked, with higher stakes guaranteeing larger future allocations in the security token offering.
3. Utility and Security Token Interactions:
Once a project’s funding is complete, the staked $FFA tokens are converted into film-specific security tokens, representing the backer’s share in the film’s profit rights.
These security tokens can be traded, sold, or held to receive future dividends based on the film’s commercial success.
